Emily’s practice focuses on corporate matters including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and varied complex commercial transactions. She also supports clients with commercial contract drafting, namely in the fashion, technology, advertising, and privacy sectors.
In the real estate space, Emily assists commercial lenders, private equity clients, and developers in transactions involving financing, acquisition and disposition of commercial properties, leasing, and subleasing. Her real estate practice also involves office and manufactured housing transactions including joint ventures and commercial loans.
Emily began her legal career as a summer associate at ArentFox Schiff and returned to the firm following law school graduation. While in law school, Emily was a judicial intern to Justice Brynja McDivitt Booth with the Supreme Court of Maryland.

Outside of work, Emily is an avid college basketball fan (she is a former NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball athlete), and enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants in DC. Emily was born and raised in Upstate New York.
