Client Work
Mike’s client work is both national and international in scope, focusing principally on the representation of institutional real estate investors and private developers with respect to the financing, acquisition, development, construction, leasing, and sale of hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, rental and condominium apartment projects, and mixed-use facilities, and the formation of joint ventures and other complex investment vehicles with respect thereto. His international practice has included the structuring of real estate joint ventures in Eastern Europe, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. He also has wide-ranging experience in the representation of banks, homebuilders, commercial developers, and individual investors in the Washington, DC area.
Previous Work
Following law school, Mike served as law clerk to the Honorable John P. Moore, Associate Judge, Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. He joined ArentFox Schiff in 1989 after having been a partner in the Washington, DC offices of a major nationally-based law firm and a large regional firm.
