A seasoned employment litigator and trial lawyer, Morgan regularly defends employers in wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA cases, and matters before governmental agencies, such as the DLSE, CRD, and EEOC. She also defends and assists employers in navigating regulatory audits, including those by the DOL, DOJ, and local enforcement agencies.
Her impressive track record includes defeating numerous class certification motions, prevailing on motions to affirmatively deny class certification, and successfully defending complex matters through trial. Morgan has represented companies in a range of employment disputes arising under state and federal laws, including claims involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and misclassification. Morgan regularly provides clients with solution-oriented counsel on various aspects of the employer-employee relationship, including leaves of absence, disability accommodation, privacy, protection of trade secrets, wage and hour compliance, and reductions in force.
