Roberto’s prior legal experience in non-profit, government, and in-house counsel settings shapes his client advocacy. He centers his clients’ goals at all stages of litigation and legal analysis leading to successful resolution of legal matters.
Professional Activities
Pro Bono
Roberto’s current pro bono work includes matters in family law, nonprofit employment counseling, and a Section 1983 civil rights case involving denial of medical care.
He moved to Chicago to serve full-time through the Amate House program and has worked and volunteered with a number of Chicago non-profit organizations. His experience ranged from legal intake to interpretation of legal matters in the areas of housing, education, and immigration.
