Tess is a member of the Real Estate Group.

Tess works on a wide range of real estate matters including lending, leasing, and purchases and sales. She has focused on representing lenders in providing acquisition, construction, and refinance loans to commercial and residential real estate developers.

Outside of her core practice, Tess has also worked on securitizations, the real estate side of corporate mergers and acquisitions, and assisting trusts and estates clients with strategic transfers.

Tess spent time as a residential real estate agent and as a reporter for real estate industry trade publications before beginning her legal career. She is interested in affordable housing solutions. At Fordham University School of Law, Tess worked in the Federal Income Tax Clinic and was Co-President of the Housing Advocacy Project.

Professional Activities

Tess enjoys the opportunity to work with pro bono clients alongside her core practice at ArentFox Schiff. She has represented pro bono clients in real estate matters and has also worked on pro bono litigation matters including an equal protection challenge to a state tax.
