AALA Agricultural Law Education Symposium

In her first session, “AgTech: Emerging Legal Challenges and Opportunities,” Karen will moderate a panel discussion highlighting the unique legal issues and challenges confronting the AgTech industry. The panel will feature experts in the AgTech field sharing their experience in a variety of legal areas relevant to AgTech companies, including financing, intellectual property, and business immigration and employment.

Karen’s second panel will cover regulatory issues related to gene editing in plants, and Karen will discuss the US’s regulatory approach under new rules at the US Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency.
