I Resolve Public Debate Series

White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Practice Group Leader Maggie Hickey will give the opening keynote address for the I Resolve debates. This new public event showcases high school students debating issues of criminal justice reform in front of community and government leaders.

Maggie will discuss the value of debate in the legal profession, as well as debate training as a way for students to gain experience in advocacy, critical thinking, research, comparing evidence, evaluating bias, and public speaking.
