Massachusetts Bar Association’s Trial Academy

Designed to equip aspiring trial attorneys with often-inaccessible experience in civil trial procedure, the program will cover every aspect of a civil trial, including opening statements, presenting a plaintiff or defendant’s case in chief, direct and cross-examination of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses, introducing evidence and preserving the record for appeal, and closing arguments. During the sold-out event, attendees will have opportunities to practice their own trial techniques and receive feedback from a panel of experienced trial lawyers. Paul will draw upon his extensive courtroom experience representing clients in the retail, manufacturing, and automotive sectors and other mature industries while cross-examining a witness during the mock trial portion of the training.
