Health Care Associate Alexandra Navratil will moderate an Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys (IAHA) Quarterly Lecture titled “The Impact of Dobbs in Illinois: How Lawmakers and Providers are Seeking to Adapt” on September 22.

Alexandra will moderate a discussion with panelists Brigid Lahey, Vice President of Public Policy at Planned Parenthood of Illinois, and Dr. Caroline Rouse, Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine. The discussion will cover the expected increase in out-of-state patients seeking access to abortion services in Illinois, and how lawmakers and clinicians are working to strengthen the legal and clinical infrastructure to address this increase.

IAHA’s Quarterly Lectures provide a high-level exploration of a current topic in health law. The lectures are free for IAHA members and open to non-members with a registration fee.
