These are a Few of My Favorite Things: Managing and Planning for Collections During Life and at Death

Fred will participate in a panel discussion with Michael Darling of the Museum Exchange and Tim Luke of Hindman Appraisals. The panel will be moderated by Stacy Singer of Northern Trust Wealth Management.  Among other things, the panel will address the importance of specific and detailed planning for the disposition of tangible personal property during life and at death, the unique challenges associated with post-death administration of estates and trusts that hold collections of personal property, the need for qualified appraisal reports prepared by qualified appraisers, and considerations for making gifts of art and collectibles to museums and other charities.
