Among the questions Aram responded to, Aram said that his most challenging case was successfully representing client Siena Hotel & Casino in Reno, Nev. in the sale of the casino property to an owner that hired most of the employees back to their job.

“I was working with various casino business creditors that I had never had to deal with before and gaming compliance issues that were complex. However, the real difficulty for me was the human element involved in the bankruptcy,” said Aram. “The casino business is ingrained into the psyche of the City of Reno and the people that work there, and having to deal with the massive layoffs of the Siena’s employees was very challenging because it was obvious that other casino-related work was simply not available, and it probably would not return for a very long time to come.”
