The article discusses the recent ruling in the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The court upheld the USPTO’s rejection of the stylized form of ‘.SUCKS’ due to the lack of significant commercial impression. The appellate court also declined to overrule the rejection application. 

“The Federal Circuit was limited to examining the record and could’ve just focused on whether the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) had substantial evidence to reach its conclusions without touching on the doctrine” Elizabeth stated.
