Ketcham Quoted on OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard for Vaccine Mandates

Partner Paula Ketcham was quoted on the anticipation of guidance from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to the Biden administration’s new order requiring businesses with at least 100 employees to mandate vaccinations or weekly testing.

“OSHA’s rule will almost certainly affirm that employers must accommodate employees who refuse to be vaccinated based on a medical exemption or sincerely held religious belief,” Paula said.

OSHA is expected to issue an emergency temporary standard (ETS) in the coming weeks.
