Montgomery Quoted on Biden Review of Clean Air Rules

Partner Jane Montgomery was quoted on President Joe Biden’s review of dozens of Trump-era environmental rules, including those governing clean air and carbon emissions.

Jane said that the longtime cycle of rulemaking followed by years-long lawsuits signals that the Clean Air Act should be amended to give clearer direction to the executive branch.

“Hopefully, with Biden’s experience in Congress, he can recognize that lawsuits are a result of bad law,” she said.
