Montgomery Quoted on President Biden’s Vehicle Emission Proposal

Partner Jane Montgomery was quoted about whether the Biden Administration’s proposed regulation for new emission standards is likely to face litigation.

Jane said, “Litigation could arise from the details of the rule—not on broad agency authority—but agencies have probably done a thorough job with their reasoning.”

“I am sure [President Biden] has directed his staff to provide adequate justifications for their rulemakings,” she said.
