Partner James H. Hulme Elected Vice President of Council for Court Excellence
On December 4, Complex Litigation Partner James H. Hulme was elected Vice President of the Council for Court Excellence at the nonprofit’s semi-annual board meeting held in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
In his role as Vice President, Mr. Hulme will work with CCE’s board and staff leadership to bring broader exposure to CCE’s justice reform work and help continue the organization’s recent success.
Founded in 1982, the Council for Court Excellence is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic organization that envisions a justice system in the District of Columbia that equitably serves its people and continues to be a model for creating stronger and more prosperous communities. CCE identifies and proposes solutions by collaborating with diverse stakeholders to conduct research, advance policy, educate the public, and increase civic engagement.
Mr. Hulme has more than 35 years of experience handling jury and bench cases involving real estate, intellectual property, securities, commercial, insurance, bankruptcy, environmental, and First Amendment issues.
