Philip English Argues Jack Kemp’s Tax Reform Ideas Would Still Work Today

Arent Fox Government Relations advisor Philip S. English wrote an opinion article published in Investor’s Business Daily on five ideas for tax reform created by the late Rep. Jack Kemp that would still work today.

Mr. English writes that a divided Congress should draw inspiration from Rep. Kemp’s ideas for tax reform, dubbed “The Five Easy Pieces.” “The catchy name and the uncompromising emphasis on jobs and wage growth refocused the reform movement on middle-class wage earners and their families as the primary beneficiaries of free-market tax changes,” writes Mr. English.
