Thomas Jeffry Discuses Anthem Blue Cross Case
Partner Thomas Jeffry was quoted in a Los Angeles Times article that reported on a rare case in which a Los Angeles jury awarded $3.8 million in compensatory damages to a doctor who argued that insurer Anthem Blue Cross retaliated against him for being a strong patient advocate.
“The insurance company’s decision can’t be arbitrary or for reasons beyond the ability of the physician to practice medicine,” said Mr. Jeffry.
