ArentFox Schiff Welcomes Sports Partner Eric Fishman in New York
Eric regularly advises clients on issues related to endorsement, licensing, sponsorship and branding deals; intellectual property matters; non-fungible token and other monetization strategies; financings and corporate matters; and dispute resolution. He has represented a number of well-known athletes in the National Football League, professional soccer leagues, and the National Basketball Association, including Kevin Durant, in an array of business deals, marketing collaborations, and contractual disputes. His clients in the sports and entertainment industry also include media networks, exciting start up brands, advertising agencies, celebrities, and artists.

In addition to his sports and entertainment practice, Eric has nearly two decades of experience in corporate law and litigation. He has achieved successful outcomes for clients across numerous sectors, including investment management, real estate, and food and beverage.
Eric joins ArentFox Schiff from Pryor Cashman LLP, where he served as partner and co-head of the firm’s Sports group. He authors articles and presents on sports law issues, including monetizing and protecting athletes’ intellectual property and novel legal issues arising from new forms of athlete compensation.
