Managing Partner Marci Eisenstein Named One of Chicago Business Journal’s 2018 Women of Influence
With a legal career spanning more than 30 years, Marci is renowned for her defense of major corporations against numerous class action challenges. She is one of the few lawyers in the country to try a nationwide consumer class action to verdict.
In early 2015, she was elected managing partner of Schiff Hardin, becoming the first woman in the firm’s history to hold this position. A founding member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, Marci’s commitment to the professional advancement of women and minorities is affirmed by the firm’s repeated recognition for having above-average representation of both women and minorities at every level, from associates to equity partners.
In addition to practicing law, Marci serves on the board of the Illinois chapter of JDRF, the world’s leading organization funding type 1 diabetes research.
