Seyhun Named to ACTEC Young Leaders
Schiff Hardin LLP is pleased to announce Melisa Seyhun has been named to The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Foundation’s Dennis I. Belcher Young Leaders Program for 2021-2023.
The Young Leaders Program was designed to foster scholarship and education in trust and estate matters, promote diversity and inclusivity, and encourage the development of potential ACTEC Fellows.
Melisa is a trusts and estates attorney with a focus on ultra-high net worth tax and estate planning. She advises clients on existing and potential tax savings, charitable and deferred compensation planning, and investment strategies. Melisa is a frequent speaker on diversity and trust and estate matters, particularly those that impact LGBTQ+ communities. She was recognized with the 2020 Excellence in Writing Awards’ Best Overall Article in the Trust & Estate category by the American Bar Association Probate & Property magazine.
