Business Loan Task Force
ArentFox Schiff is counseling clients on the business loan programs included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). This critical legislation will provide relief to Americans and businesses affected by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Our Business Loan Task Force is assisting small and medium-sized businesses including nonprofit organizations in determining eligibility and securing loans under the programs established by the CARES Act (read our initial analysis here). This Task Force consists of lawyers from the firm’s Corporate & Securities and Finance groups and from all of the firm’s industry sectors.
The Business Loan Task Force provides detailed explanations of the Act’s provisions relating to two business loan programs. One program is designed to support small businesses (500 employees or less) and the hospitality/restaurant sectors. The other program is designed to support medium-sized businesses (500 – 10,000 employees). Not for profit organizations may benefit from both programs.
We will provide written materials and sponsor webinars to explain the Act and its regulations. The Task Force is available to represent clients in obtaining benefits authorized by the Act in an expeditious manner.
The team is working with our colleagues in all industry sectors to advise clients across the country.
