Peter Zeidenberg Tells Soledad O’Brien A Select Committee Ideal for Russia Probe
Arent Fox White Collar & Investigations partner Peter Zeidenberg was a guest on Matter of Fact with Soledad O’Brien to discuss the firing of FBI director James Comey by President Donald Trump.
The program reported that “while Trump says he wanted Comey’s firing to put the Russia probe to rest, it is now dominating coverage. Democrats and some Republicans have been calling for a variety of independent investigations, which they say will be able to reach impartial results.”
Peter, a 17-year Department of Justice veteran, said that Congress establishing a Select Committee would be “ideal” and that “the idea of a special counsel being appointed is not a cure all.
