Reproductive Health Task Force
ArentFox Schiff has launched a multi-disciplinary team to counsel clients on legal issues stemming from the repeal of Roe v. Wade. Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, our lawyers are monitoring and analyzing the decision’s impact on health care providers, pharmaceutical and device manufacturers, and matters such as employers’ health and benefits plans.
This task force, which comprises leading lawyers from several of the firm’s signature practices including Employee Benefits and ERISA, Health Care, Government Enforcement & White Collar, Complex Litigation, Appellate, Corporate & Securities, Food, Drug, Medical Device & Cosmetic, Labor & Employment, Privacy, Data Protection & Data Security, and Tax, will examine, among other things, how the Dobbs decision affects employers’ policies and plans, including ERISA plans, HIPAA policies, and related tax issues. Our dedicated team will also analyze Dobbs’ potential impact on health care providers and entities operating within the pharmaceutical and device industry, e.g., prescribers, distributors, dispensers, and manufacturers. This rapidly changing area of the law involves a range of other issues, such as workplace culture, customer data, and corporate liability.
